TerrainTiles

Struct TerrainTiles

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct TerrainTiles { pub image: ImageId, pub tile_px: (u32, u32), pub look: Look, pub looks: BTreeMap<String, Look>, }
Expand description

A tileset’s terrain tiles. Build it with TerrainTiles::new (ADR-0039).

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§image: ImageId

The image the tiles are in.

§tile_px: (u32, u32)

A map tile’s size, across × down, in pixels: in the image, and on screen.

§look: Look

The tileset’s own look: what a map is painted as unless looks has the look it names.

§looks: BTreeMap<String, Look>

Its other looks, by the name a map’s look gives (MapLook::tiles).

Implementations§

Source§

impl TerrainTiles

Source

pub const fn new(image: ImageId, tile_px: (u32, u32), look: Look) -> Self

The tiles of image, tile_px each, in the look look and no other (looks starts empty).

Source

pub fn look(&self, name: &str) -> &Look

The look a map naming name is painted as: that look if the tileset has it, else its own.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl AssetKind for TerrainTiles

The tileset kind (ADR-0007), with no format of the engine’s: how a game writes its tiles is its own, and its format reads them into this.

Source§

const NAME: &'static str = "tileset"

What messages call the kind, in lowercase words: "image", "palette".
