Card

Enum Card

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Card { Text { line: String, ink: Rgb, background: Rgb, }, Picture { path: String, background: Rgb, }, }
Expand description

What the screen shows while the game’s data loads, from the first frame (a slow device takes seconds to load a game, and shows nothing until a frame is drawn). Drawn by the backend with what it has of its own, since the game’s font isn’t loaded yet.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Text

A line of text (the game’s name, say), centred, in the backend’s own font.

Fields

§line: String

The line.

§ink: Rgb

Its colour.

§background: Rgb

The colour of the rest of the screen.

§

Picture

A picture from the game’s files, by path, centred at the largest whole scale that fits.

Fields

§path: String

Its path among the game’s files.

§background: Rgb

The colour of the rest of the screen.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Card

Source

pub fn text(line: impl Into<String>) -> Self

line in white on black.

Source

pub fn picture(path: impl Into<String>) -> Self

The picture at path among the game’s files, on black.

Source

pub fn colored(self, ink: Rgb, background: Rgb) -> Self

The same card in ink (a picture has none) on background.

Source

pub fn background(&self) -> Rgb

The colour around what it shows.
