LoopedRegion

Struct LoopedRegion

Source
pub struct LoopedRegion<S, F> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A source that plays up to the end of a region, then from its start, for ever, for a worker to fill_from. restart gives the source from its first frame again, however that is done (a seek, or a new decoder over the same bytes), and the frames before the region are read and dropped: what comes out is sample-exact at the join whatever the decoder’s own pages are.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S: Source, F: FnMut() -> Result<S, Error>> LoopedRegion<S, F>

Source

pub const fn new(source: S, region: Region, restart: F) -> Self

source, from its first frame, looping region.

Trait Implementations§

impl<S: Debug, F: Debug> Debug for LoopedRegion<S, F>

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source§

impl<S: Source, F: FnMut() -> Result<S, Error>> Source for LoopedRegion<S, F>

Source§

fn format(&self) -> PcmFormat

The rate and channels of what it yields.
Source§

fn total_frames(&self) -> Option<u64>

How many frames it yields from its start, if that is known without decoding.
Source§

fn read(&mut self, out: &mut [i16]) -> Result<usize, Error>

Fills out with the next whole frames, interleaved, and says how many frames that was. 0 means it has ended. Short of the end it gives at least one, and a buffer without room for one is Error::NoRoom. Read more
Source§

fn rewind_to(&mut self, frame: u64) -> Result<(), Error>

Goes back, so that the next read gives frame frame, without waiting: what a mix asks at a loop’s join. A source that can’t says Error::NoRewind, as this does unless it is written otherwise.
