GizmoItem

Struct GizmoItem

Source
pub struct GizmoItem {
    pub channel: &'static str,
    pub role: GizmoRole,
    pub shape: GizmoShape,
    pub color: Rgb,
    pub clip: PxRect,
}
Expand description

A gizmo in the frame: its channel’s id and role (for the snapshot), its shape, the colour the debug skin gave its role, and the part of the frame it is drawn in.

Fields§

§channel: &'static str

The id of its channel (grid).

§role: GizmoRole

What it shows.

§shape: GizmoShape

Its shape.

§color: Rgb

Its colour.

§clip: PxRect

The pixels it may draw in: its shape’s bounds to start with (a label’s: the cells its text was printed in), clipped to the buffer when added.

Implementations§

Source§

impl GizmoItem

Source

pub fn new( channel: &'static str, role: GizmoRole, shape: GizmoShape, color: Rgb, ) -> Self

shape in color, of channel and role, drawn wherever it reaches.

Source

pub fn for_each_run(&self, f: impl FnMut(i32, i32, i32))

Calls f(y, x0, x1) for each run of its pixels inside its clip: row y, pixels x0..x1. Every renderer fills these, in whole console pixels, in its colour. A label gives none (its glyphs are in the cells).
