Shade

Struct Shade

Source
pub struct Shade {
    pub rows: Rows,
    pub edged: bool,
    pub flips: bool,
}
Expand description

How a colour is drawn: an 8 × 8 pattern fixed to the screen, and what two of the game’s inks do besides.

Fields§

§rows: Rows

The pattern: screen pixel (x, y) takes bit x % 8 (from the highest) of row y % 8, a set bit white. Every pattern repeats within 8 pixels across, so a row’s byte is the same all along it.

§edged: bool

A glyph in it gets a white edge one pixel wide around it (Ink::BlackEdged).

§flips: bool

A rectangle in it flips the pixels under it, after everything else (Ink::Invert); anything else in it is drawn in the pattern.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Shade

Source

pub const fn rows(rows: Rows) -> Self

Pattern rows, and nothing more.

Source

pub const fn of_ink(ink: Ink) -> Self

How ink draws (ink_is_white).

Source

pub const fn row(self, y: i32) -> u8

The eight pixels of screen row y it paints in a byte of a Frame.

Source

pub const fn is_white(self, x: i32, y: i32) -> bool

Whether it makes screen pixel (x, y) white.
