Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Pending

The platform hasn’t reported applying it yet. A platform that never reports (one whose rate is fixed and that doesn’t say so) leaves every request here.

Applied(Pacing)

The platform applied it: its report.

Superseded

A later change of the cap (another request, the options screen, a profile switched to) took the next serial: the cap asked for is no longer the one in force, whether or not it had applied.
