Enum Kind

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Kind
{ Strike { piece: P, target: Option
, way: u32, value: (i64, i64), }, Extra { group: u8, value: (i64, i64), once: Option<(P, Option
, u32)>, }, Step { piece: P, dest: Pos, }, End, Drop, Other, }
Expand description

What a legal command is to a TacticsOrder. P is the game’s id of a piece.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Strike

piece strikes target (or a tile, None) in its way way (a weapon, an art, a spell: the game’s number for it), worth value (the damage expected dealt, then minus the damage expected taken back, say: higher first).

Fields

§piece: P

The piece striking.

§target: Option

The piece struck, if it strikes one.

§way: u32

Its way of striking.

§value: (i64, i64)

How good it looks: higher first.

§

Extra

One of the game’s own lists (heals say), after the game’s pick: by group, lower first, then value, higher first. Of the commands with the same once (a piece, its target and its way), only the first by that order is listed; None is always listed.

Fields

§group: u8

Its list: lower first.

§value: (i64, i64)

How good it looks: higher first.

§once: Option<(P, Option
, u32)>

What it is one of.

§

Step

piece ends on dest, doing nothing else (it waits there): an advance, a hold or the rest.

Fields

§piece: P

The piece stepping.

§dest: Pos

Where it ends.

§

End

The end of the turn, kept within the cap (the first one given; a second is left out).

§

Drop

Never tried.

§

Other

Anything else: listed after the strikes held back.
